You can, but you shouldnt, because it will be too easy, you should choose hard mode.

I agree, this game is easier than the others, probably because of the time constrain they thought about making easy extra easy so you can explore ... this is the only game I don't have a "hard" time on normal, and can actually play on hard without feeling underpowered.

Eh, can't really agree. But yeah, I started normal and continued that on my 2nd run and while still easy for a lot of things, some "bosses" still manage to wipe me easily. Hard would just be hell for everything. I almost regret continuing on normal since I'll probably game over again...

Then again, drops are better on hard so if you are well prepared from easy, you can get better stuff on hard but I still think it's not as easy as some imply. I am not a newbie at this and jeez...

I started on normal on 1st playthrough lot of things werent easy but wasnt too hard either(except superbosses ofc) it was enjoyable, on 2nd playthrough i started on hard, i did Snow on day 10 for getting ++ boss, Noel and Dead Runes boss on day 7 for getting + one(dead runes one has different name on day 7+) unfortunately they did within 30-45 sec.Ofc Aeronite was harder than on nomal mode(same strategy didnt work on that), I heard Final boss will be much harder i cant wait for that :D

Final boss on hard mode isn't too bad. Same attack patterns just more HP. On NG++ he's an absolute nightmare. I would rank him above everything else in the game at that point.

How about Earth Eaters on hard? They were kind of harder for me on normal than final boss =x

Took me 2 days to beat hard mode final boss on my first try just repeating on fighting it over and over lol

As for earth eater I always run from it that piece of ♥♥♥♥ is over powered

It can be killed but a waste of time

Yes but how about the one at one of the four trials near the end of the game? or did you go final boss without ultimate gear?

They dont die under 10 sec but they are not hard either with a good weapon.

Earth Eater wont appear if you kill the Last one version in Ultima Lair or you kill all of em before. If you kill every Last One in Ultima Lair, there wont be "gatekeepers" except in 3 rooms(Archangeli,Chimera and Wendigos)

I find staggering quickly to drop the debuff wall and artemis arrows work wonders on those. Id rather fight an earth eater than an arcangeli :P fk those guys..

Just debuff debuff everything

Deprotect deimpreil and stagger it and blast it away

Best to use both AA and MM to spam it to death

MM can be quite expensive to build you might not get all you need for both AA and MM on your first hard mode playthru

NG++? Not sure what you mean by that, for me I fought his + version on hard, which was my second playthrough.

The + version is as high as Bunny goes, so if you can hack that you're good.

Actually if you want to atb optimise skills then you need at least 2 playthrus on easy/normal before hard to get enough skills.

e.g. I couldnt get a maxed thundara level 3 without 2 playthru's.

Also I think + bunny is easier than normal bunny. The + version barely attacks you.
